The Perfect Pull-up Review

the perfect pull-up

For anyone thinking about what type of pull-up bar you should get, I would like to recommend The Perfect Pull-up Bar. I’ve had it for a few years and really like it. I did notice that the version I have is the older style. On Perfects site the newer style looks different.

It did require me to screw in the supports into the door frame. So if you don’t want to or can’t do that, then that might be an issue. It didn’t take long though. There are two types of supports that come with it. One type actually holds the bar and the other type hold the sides of it, used when doing rows.

The Perfect Pull-up allows you to do regular pull-ups, Australian pull-ups and vertical rows. Just by changing your foot position on the rows can help you increase your strength by making it harder.

Because of how the bar is attached, it isn’t safe to jump onto the bar. I also need to make sure not to push forward when doing rows. Otherwise the bar supports can slide out of place.

I also went ahead and purchased the Perfect Dip bar. This was an add on to the Pull-up bar that allows me to do dips. The dip bars are width adjustable, so that I can find a width that’s comfortable for me.

The only issue I have with the dip bar is that my pull-up bar is in the doorway to my kitchen. Therefore, I need to take the dip bar off when not in use. Oh well, can’t have it all. I still enjoy it.

Take a look at Perfects website. They have the manual listed, workouts, and even a video showing how to install it. It’s also listed on their site as $19.95. That seems good to me. I actually paid $49.95 when I got mine. I can’t really speak to the quality of the new style as mine is slightly different.

In the interest of full disclosure, I am not receiving any compensation for this review. I am also not an affiliate of Perfect or will I receive a commission if you purchase it through this site. I just wanted everyone to know about my experience with my Perfect Pull-up bar.
