Sometimes if I get my snack on, I don’t even realize how much I’m eating. I can easily go through an entire bag of Cheese Doodles in one sitting. And I’m not talking about the itty bitty $0.25 bag. I’m talking about the big ‘ole giant family size bag.
That’s not good if I’m trying to watch what I eat. So, how do I control it? Well to be honest sometimes I don’t, but when I do I use cups. I like to buy those seven ounce plastic cups from the 99 cent store. You probably know the ones. They’re small and come in a bag of like fifty cups.
I’ll take one of those cups and fill it with whatever snack I plan to eat. For instance, I bought some Honey Braid pretzels today and will do this later on tonight. I’ve also done this with ice cream, jello and even carrots. It works out pretty well and I don’t go all crazy on the snack.
Sometimes I might go for seconds and fill up the cup again, but I usually find myself satisfied by the end of that second cup. A second cup is sure a lot better than eating the whole bag or container, that’s for sure.
