As usual, once I get out of bed I do my body rotations. I never load the spine until at least being up and about for an hour. I don’t remember where I read that, but it said it wasn’t good to add weight onto the spine until at least an hour after waking.
Workout Tuesday 6-26-12
After swimming for so long on Monday my body felt too tired to do any serious work. So I just did a sporadic workout here and there throughout the day.
Workout Monday 6-25-2012
Today was a bit cloudy and rainy. Now that schools out, the public pools tend to get a bit crowded, which makes swimming a bit difficult. But, in my experience, on rainy days most people don’t go to the pool.
Workout saturday 6-23-2012
It was a beautiful day Saturday. As always I do my morning body rotations to get the kinks out when I wake up. The sun was shining and it wasn’t too hot. I met up with my friend to go to the park and get in some bodyweight exercises and some running while playing frisbee.
Long distance running
Why I am against long distance running as a workout
I personally don’t feel that running for long distances or long times is really necessary. I personally feel that running short distances fast is better. I would’nt run more than 1.5 miles at a time. If you can run that far without any problems, then I would say run it faster.
Why I do deadlifts
I use deadlifts to make my lower back stronger. When I was around 16 I pulled a muscle in my lower back bending over to pick up weights. That was a time when I would do those workouts in all the muscle magazines and be sore for days. I was young and didn’t know any better. I bent over to pick them up and it hurt. Since then I’ve always had some issues with my back.

Why I love watermelon
It’s awesome tasting, especially in the summer. I find that the redder the color, the sweeter it is. I guess its like berries, The darker the berry the sweeter the juice. Some people have said that to help you eat less, drink a glass of water before you eat. Personally that has never worked for me, and I don’t enjoy doing it. Like i’ve said many times before if you don’t like doing something you won’t do it.
I love smoothies
I love making smoothies. They are easy to make and you get all those servings of fruits and vegetables. And for those that care, they also taste good. 🙂 Today I made an awesome smoothie. I didn’t even think it was going to taste that good, but it was awesome.
