Workout Saturday 7-21-2012

This morning was a beautiful 70 degrees out. The sun was just starting to peek out from behind the clouds when I headed out to the park bright and early. Let me tell you, this mornings workout was short, but when I was done I felt exhausted. I had to get some food in me quick.

Once I got to the park I started off with some australian pull-ups and some push-ups before heading to the soccer field for some sprints. I did a medium intensity strength workout, going for medium reps.

Australian pullups (on low ledge)

3 sets of 10 reps

Push-ups

2 sets of 10 reps
1 set of 20 reps

I also held onto a ledge on one of the jungle gyms for 10 seconds, at the half way position of a pull-up.

Sprints

run 100m
walk back to starting line
Repeat 3 more times

This is an effective workout for being so quick. I think it took me like 15 minutes to complete.
